Kailyn Lowry has finally shared the names of her twins after months of keeping them a secret.
The US Sun reported on the announcement. In an Instagram video on February 9th, Kailyn shared that she’d chosen names for her son and daughter that both begin with V.
In the video, the 31-year-old could be seen holding both of her babies. One of them was wrapped in a turquoise blanket, and the other was wrapped in a pink one.
Their names were printed on each of their blankets in white lettering. They revealed that Kailyn named her little boy Verse, and her daughter’s name is Valley.
Kailyn captioned the video with- ‘Complete. Whole. Everybody’s here.’ According to the outlet, the video was specially made as a way of announcing the newborns’ names to her followers.
Kailyn Shared Close-Ups the Twins
It began with a title that read- Name Reveal For The Twins. Then, there was a shot of Kailyn smiling as she looked down at Verse on her lap. Kailyn’s boyfriend Elijah could also be seen next to her, holding Valley.
In another clip, the fraternal twins were lying next to each other on a blanket. They were wearing matching onesies.
Kailyn got close-ups of their tiny hands and feet, as well as some of the gifts she’d gotten for their arrival. These included wood-colored baby pacifiers that had Milk Snob written on them.
There was also a shot of their white cribs side-by-side. The monikered blankets placed on each of them helped identify which crib belonged to which baby. There was a blue octopus plushie in Verse’s crib, and Valley had a pink one inside hers.
The twins weren’t the only ones with presents, though. Kailyn had a blanket of her own, a big gray one with all the names of her children on it. She showed it off for the camera and revealed that it also had the word Mama written on it in big font, right in the middle of the blanket.
Fans Commented on Kailyn’s Name Choices
Instagram users quickly began posting their congratulations in the comments section, giving their opinions on her and Elijah’s name choices.
One of them wrote she had the dopest names for her kids. Another said that they were cute and that they were still so happy for her, and that she finally got her baby girl.
A third commented that they loved how different the names were and added that the kids would never have to worry about having the same name as five other kids in their class. Someone else shared that they’d love to know Kailyn’s inspiration behind each of her children’s names if she was ever willing to share one day.
With the addition of Verse and Valley in her life, Kailyn is now a mother of seven.
She has one son named Isaac with her ex Jo Rivera, who she was with when she was on Teen Mom. Then, she had another son with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin.
He was followed by two more boys that she shares with her Chris Lopez. A year before her twins were born, Kailyn gave birth to her and Elijah’s son, Rio.
PEOPLE reported that Kailyn originally thought that the twins would both be boys. In a TikTok video, she confessed that she misunderstood the results of a blood test that was supposed to help determine the gender of her twins. It was only once she went for a scan that the doctors were able to confirm to her that she was expecting her first daughter.
Valley and Verse were born in November 2023.
